In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to host our annual event in person. Inspired by many other movements to communicate with others from our homes, From Hiroshima to Hope created a campaign to help people create and display peace lanterns in their own homes.
Below are a few different lantern ideas and templates with instructions for creating your own lantern and inscribing it with your message of peace and hope.
Once your lantern is created, we hope you will display it in your window (August 6 – 9), take a photo, and post it on social media with the hashtag #FromHiroshimaToHope.
